New training programme coming soon Posted on October 01, 2020

2020 has been a very strange year for many of us, forcing us look at how we need to adapt to suit the ‘new normal’, whilst providing an opportunity to reflect on what we would like to focus on and achieve going forward.  This has also been the case for The PMC Studio.

Although we have been a bit quiet, we have been remarkably busy behind the scenes during the past 6 months.  Moving forward The PMC Studio will be focusing on our passion and key strengths, helping our customers achieve more with PMC through the delivery of high-quality training and support

As part of this new direction, this year we have taken our internationally renowned PMC Certification Programme online and are delighted to have over 30 students currently learning with us from all over the globe.  With our virtual classroom approach, they are having an amazing time, learning loads, and producing fabulous work – we are immensely proud of what our students are achieving and excited about the possibilities of this new format.  You will be hearing more from us on this very soon…

In addition, we are delighted to announce that we are working with the manufacturers of PMC, Mitsubishi Materials Trading Corporation, and Camp PMC in the USA to extend our training offer.  On 1st January 2021, we will launch the Camp PMC programme in the UK, with deployments across Europe to follow, dates to be advised.  This is an exciting development as for the first time in the history of PMC there will be one global education programme, providing a consistent approach to PMC training, led by the manufacturer.   A key benefit is that it will enable artisans to explore the possibilities of PMC and work towards mastery, whilst instructors will have the opportunity to become certified trainers.

As a result of all this, for now our online shop will remain closed and we recommend that you purchase your PMC supplies from the UK distributor, Cooksongold.

Whilst she will be keeping her hand in with guest tutor appearances, sadly Helen Forder has taken a step back from The PMC Studio at this time.  Senior PMC tutors Julie Holt and Helen Drye are taking this transition forward, and with our other Accredited Training Centres, will continue to deliver existing PMC Training.

We would like to thank all The PMC Studio customers, past and present, for your support and are excited to finally be able to share our news with you.  We will keep you informed as we move forward, however should you have any questions in the meantime do let us know.
