Hallmarking PMC
All items of PMC can be hallmarked. PMC Sterling and PMC Onefire Sterling can be hallmarked as Sterling Silver (.925). PMC3 and PMC Flex can be hallmarked as Sterling Silver (.925) or Fine Silver (.999).
We recommend using the 3D laser/deep laser hallmark as this is most likely not to damage any delicate work. Changes to the legislation also mean you no longer have to purchase a punch and can use laser hallmarking ONLY.
Items weighing less than 7.78g of silver once fired are exempt from hallmarking but may be marked if you prefer. Hallmarking is available at any UK Assay Office. If you are unsure please give them a call,. you will find them most helpful.
